Free visual inspection and a written scope of work before any mitigation begins - photos, moisture readings, and drying logs go in your claim file
The scope we write is the scope we bill. Anything new gets shown to you, in writing, before we touch it.
Meet the Summerlin Team Behind DryMark Restoration Summerlin
We’re the crew that shows up when your kitchen’s under three inches of water or when a mold test came back positive in your Summerlin home. Every person on this page has been background-checked, licensed, and verified before they ever touched a Dri-Eaz or Phoenix drying unit at your property. What ties us together isn’t a handbook. It’s that we all answer to the same thing: Haven Standard, Clause 1, written price before work starts, every time.
Our People
Alicia Brennan, Owner
I started Back to Dry in 2011 after six years as a claims adjuster watching homeowners lose thousands because their restoration company couldn’t produce a photo log or a written scope the carrier would accept. That documentation gap is what this company was built to close. I still sign every Haven Standard warranty that leaves our office, and I review the moisture logs on jobs over 1,000 square feet personally. When I’m not on a job site, I’m usually on the phone with an adjuster in Summerlin or The Hills, walking through vapor pressure differential readings until they understand why the drying plan costs what it costs. I keep a 2011 flood photo on my desk from the first house we ever restored in Clark County. The drywall was pink. The homeowner baked us cookies. Both details are in that file.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been running mitigation crews in the Las Vegas Valley for fourteen years, and he’s seen Summerlin’s hard water do things to slab foundations that still surprise him. He’s IICRC-certified in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD), and he’s the one who decides when a job moves from secondary to tertiary drying, that final phase where we drop vapor pressure differentials below the threshold that prevents rebuild. Marcus grew up in North Las Vegas and still lives there with two pit bulls who, he claims, have better hearing than his moisture meters. He once found a leak source behind a Summerlin South shower tile by listening for the hiss the homeowner couldn’t hear. His drying logs are the cleanest in the network. Adjusters ask for him by name.
Dana K., Senior Installer / Rebuild Lead
Dana handles the reconstruction side once we’ve hit dry standard, which in Summerlin’s desert climate means hitting equilibrium moisture content below 12% on wood framing before any drywall goes back up. She’s certified through the RIA and specializes in fire and smoke restoration, the kind of work where you can’t just cover the odor, you have to remove the source, whether that’s thermal fogging a truss cavity or sealing a subfloor with shellac-based primer. Dana moved here from Michigan in 2019 and still hasn’t adjusted to how fast paint dries in July. She keeps a notebook of every Summerlin neighborhood she’s worked in, The Vistas to The Trails, with notes on which builders used paper-faced drywall versus mold-resistant purple board. That notebook has saved us two days on more than one job.
Rico V., Service Coordinator
Rico answers the phones you actually reach when you call (725) 216-2692 at 2 a.m. because your water heater let go. He’s the one who dispatches the crew, confirms your written scope appointment, and makes sure the photo documentation link hits your inbox before the crew leaves. Rico came to us from hotel front-of-house management, which explains why he remembers that you have a dog who hates strangers and that your gate code changed last month. He coordinates with insurance adjusters across seven carriers regularly and knows which ones want moisture logs daily versus at completion. He lives in Summerlin proper, near Downtown Summerlin, and he’s the reason we can tell you with confidence whether traffic on the 215 will make us eight minutes late.
Jesse P., Apprentice Technician
Jesse joined us in 2023 with a background in HVAC ductwork, which turns out to be useful more often than you’d think, especially when we’re tracing moisture migration through a Summerlin home’s return plenum after a swamp cooler failure. He’s working through his IICRC WRT certification now and spends most days shadowing Marcus, learning to read psychrometric data, the chart that tells us exactly how much moisture air can hold at a given temperature, and when we’ve hit the dew point that means condensation risk inside a wall cavity. Jesse is from Henderson originally and still drives a 2006 Tacoma with 287,000 miles. He asks more questions than any apprentice we’ve had, which is exactly why he’s still here.
One Standard, Every Job

DryMark Restoration Summerlin operates as an independently owned and operated location under The Haven Standard, the same framework Alicia Brennan established in 2011. That means every technician on this page delivers a written price before any work starts, Haven Standard, Clause 1, with no exceptions. Every visit produces a documented photo record, included as standard, never sold as an upgrade. Every completed job carries the 365-Day Done Right Promise, a signed guarantee, not a verbal assurance. We use the same professional-grade drying equipment, Dri-Eaz, Phoenix, XPOWER, B-Air, and Injectidry systems, documented to IICRC, RIA, and IFA standards, that produces the daily moisture logs carriers actually pay. And if you’ve got a competitor’s written estimate, we’ll review it free under our Second Opinion policy. The crew changes by neighborhood, The Paseos to Stonebridge, but the standard doesn’t.
